2017年新能源企业500强榜单上榜企业分别来自34个国家和地区，中国共有198家企业进入500强比去年(193家)增加5家，占39.6%，居各国首位。

2017年“500强”企业的总营业收入达到33965亿元人民币，比2016年的30666亿元增加了3299亿元人民币。2017年500强上榜企业比较低营业收入再迈上一个新台阶，超越十亿元人民币大关，达到了11.85亿元人民币，比2016年“500强”的7.58亿元提高了4.27亿元，企业入围门槛提升幅度是2016年1.33亿元的3.21倍。
